Our flagship product was designed specifically to address some of these problems; If your program needs a similar solution tailored to your needs contact us.
Three projects have been implemented under M-Voucher with MercyCorps Uganda as our main partner.
- Seed voucher activity (1 program)
- Post Harvest voucher activity – Implemented across 2 programs
- Multi-Program seed voucher activity – Implemented across four programs (On-going)
The first seed voucher activity was implemented for the North Karamoja Growth, Health and Governance (GHG) program under USAID and implemented by MercyCorps and !nnovate as technology partners. Farmers in Abim, Kaabong and Kotido participated in the pilot project and redeemed vouchers under the Legumes, Vegetable and Cereal categories.
The second voucher activity was for redeeming post harvest equipment for farmers in Northern Karamoja region. Two programs participated in this voucher activity namely; Growth, Health and Governance (GHG) & Safe Net and Resilient (SNR) sponsored by USAID and World Food Program. Farmers redeemed silos, super grain bags, efficient cookstoves as well as solar lanterns.
Supported by both MercyCorps and GOAL, our current implementation covers four programs namely; The Growth, Health and Governance (GHG) program, Safe Net and Resilient (SNR) Program sponsored by World Food Programme as well as MercyCorps; Building Resilience and Adaptation to Climate Extremes and Disasters(BRACED) program sponsored by UK aid and MercyCorps and last but not least; DYNAMIC program supported by GOAL.
